On May 17, 2024, CNN aired video captured on a hotel security camera of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs assaulting his then girlfriend and Bad Boy recording artist Cassie Ventura in March of 2016. More shocking than the video itself, which shows Combs aggressively dragging and kicking Ventura, is the number of previous times over the past three decades that Combs has been involved with an alleged violent assault without significant consequence.
